MORE THAN A ROUTINE CLEAN

What your dentist is checking at every visit

A check-up and clean is about more than removing plaque and tartar. It gives your dentist an opportunity to assess your teeth, gums and existing dental work, identify changes early and discuss anything that may need monitoring or treatment.

Tooth Decay & Damage

We check for signs of decay, cracks, chips and other changes that may affect the health or strength of your teeth.

Gum Health

Your gums are assessed for signs of inflammation, bleeding, recession and other changes that may indicate gum problems.

Existing Dental Work

Fillings, crowns and other restorations can change over time. We check existing dental work for signs of wear, damage or areas that may need attention.

Bite, Wear & Sensitivity

We can assess concerns such as unusual tooth wear, sensitivity and changes in the way your teeth come together.
